Don't Mess This Up

Dear Jason Segel,

If you fuck this up, I will never forgive you.

The second Star Wars trilogy is at times unwatchable. The new Battlestar Gallactica didn't have guys in silver painted costumers pretending to be robots. The Transformers in the Transformers movies look like the frames of half built planes and the action scenes are incomprehensible. The GI Joe movie had Brendon Fraser in it. Daredevil sucked. I can't remember one good line from The Hitchhikers movie. The Scooby-Doo movie had no jokes but for reasons unclear to me, had Sarah Michelle Geller.

I can forgive the people behind all the above. I'll even defend those movies and TV show, if I'm in the mood and the other person is being unfair.

But The Muppets are on the other side of the line separating characters and stories I see as entertainment to be watched and enjoyed from those few I treasure in my heart. Don't fuck up the green frog and his friends.
